[The robot had been oddly quiet for a few days, even avoiding his family as much as possible during the Thanksgiving dinner. But now the phone in his room was knocked off the hook, and if you're listening carefully, you can hear him muttering to himself. There's something off about the words, slow and buzzing.]

Shouldn't have listen...ed to her... liar... don't hurt me again, no... one hurts me again... can't trust... them.... should have remembered that...



[Family members are free to notice that he has claimed possession of the house's sharpest kitchen knife, and a tool box. The knife was used to cut open the covering on his right arm, and the tools are being used in an attempt to one-handedly install a gun there.]

[ sigh, sitting beside him and doing as directed. He's not thrilled about Robo with a gun- especially if he's acting strange, but if he knows how to put it together, he can figure out how to take it apart ]

If you can tell me what to do, I can probably do most of the work. You're not in any condition to do much of anything.

[He walks Jolt through the installation, explaining what goes where in the rather complex clockwork mechanisms of his build.]

[ does as instructed, taking mental notes as he goes. Cybertronian medical training sure comes in handy for things like this! ]

[Oh yes, medical training might help a bit, but this is still going to take a while. He's built totally different from any ideas of Cybertronian construction.

But eventually, it's installed. He stares at his arm for a long while, after getting put back together.]

[ In that case, be glad he's not Ratchet or you'd be getting all sorts of questions. ]

[ ... oh dear. Puts his hands on Robo's shoulders, trying to keep him still ]

Kaito, she was brainwashed. That wasn't her.

[He's not even able to follow his own train of thought right now.

Here's a hint, ooc-like. Clockwork requires winding, and he's been sitting still in his room for days.]

Accidents happen, people make mistakes. [ thinking, thinking- he's seen a little bit of how Robo works now, and he swears he saw one of the soldiers back at NEST with something similar. A watch or something.

Okay, but winding a watch is easy. How the hell do you wind a robot? ]

[A pause, he stares at Jolt. He knows what's going on, and he doesn't like it. He just wants to run down, to just stop working.]
